Two major reports about the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) made headlines this summer. In June, the Pew Center of the States issued its annual report on the financial health of state pension plans. While the report rates the WRS a "strong performer," it sheds light and attention on the problem of underfunded public pensions nationally. Read more about the report on page 10.
